Joshua Dean Wagers has been lead singer and lead guitar player for some of the Space Coast’s most popular bands, and has developed an impressive repertoire of original songs, now being professionally recorded. He credits his unique style of music to the influences of such musical legends as: Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Maynard Keenan, Ozzy, Steven Tyler, Chris Cornell, and Zakk Wylde.
Operatically-trained and playing music since age 12, Joshua loves performing Tool songs and “showing the world his interpretation of his angle of perception of Maynard’s scope.” Josh also loves the primitive nature of Tool’s music, and “how quickly it turns into a complex opus of neglected emotions that need to be cuddled like a baby.”
A complex, highly intelligent, and reflective man, Joshua is focused on spreading music and light in a world thirsting for both. His primary motivations are his son, Dakota, and helping as many musicians as possible.
One of Joshua’s secret guilty pleasures is to “listen to old-time hillbilly bluegrass with his feet in a pond in the middle of nowhere with a bottle of shine.”
